So... my artwork is going to be exhibited in a college gallery. The problem: I have no clue which project to chose to exhibit. I can only chose one... and all of my best work is not even on this site. Basically the only things people ever see submitted here are sketchbook sized works that I don't always take my time on at all. My actual projects are just too huge for me to scan and put them up and I have yet to develope my film to scan those pictures. In any case, I'm just excited. This is a great opportunity and I intend to take full advantage of it. I just feel bad because I am in no way going into any art related field... so... essentially... I am taking the spot of an up and coming artist that could really use this recognition. Yet at the same time... I do need this for myself. I'm applying for transfer and i have NO community service hours and I play no sports... participating in this would show that I am contributing to my college campus. Ugh but I'm nervous. what if I submit a project and it just completely pales in comparisson to the few others that were chosen? I have no clue.. but I need to get my project fixed up and framed (with glass) in a matter of days. I'm not sure I can pull it off but I am going to try like hell to make it work. Mr Arnold also wants me to enter a competition to create the new college seal. I think I will enter... I will DEFINATELY enter if I can get my hands on linoleum printing materials... but that seems a bit impossible... oh well... we'll see what happens.
